10. Michael Biehn Was First Choice To Play The T-1000
Robert Patrick's T-1000 has almost become as iconic as Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800, but before James Cameron settled on Patrick (after being impressed by him in Die Hard 2), a whole different approach to the character was considered. For this, The Terminator's Kyle Reese, Michael Biehn, would be required to return. As part of Cameron's desire to switch things up, Terminator 2 would see Terminator villain Arnold Schwarzenegger now playing the good guy and Terminator hero Biehn playing the antagonist. The idea for the T-1000 character with Biehn in the part was that Skynet had managed to clone Reese's body, then create a new Terminator and send it back to kill John Connor. Cameron decided to scrap the idea, however, after he figured audiences would find the proposition too confusing. Which isn't to say there weren't still others in mind before Patrick...
