20 Mistakes You Probably Missed In Ghostbusters Movies
14. How Do They Get Covered In Marshmallow Exactly?
When the Ghostbusters break their cardinal rule and cross the streams to take down Gozer and the Stay Puft marshmallow man, the monster explodes and showers the surrounding area in delicious evil mallow goo. The resulting goo-splosion also covers the Ghostbusters, but that is as impossible as any of them surviving the explosion in the first place, since the force of the blast blows away from the building, and not towards it.
13. Why Would Anyone Choose Louis For Anything?
Surely Zuul didn't just randomly pick the pair of apartment block residents to become the Gate Keeper and the Key Master? There must have been some method to the madness of picking them out of the thousands of people in the immediate vicinity, which makes it particularly odd that a God would choose as bumbling and comically unsuitable a candidate as Louis, who is only caught by the hell hound initially because he can't work out how to enter a restaurant. If the end game was impregnating Dana, as some have suggested - in order to facilitate the plot of the sequel - then surely picking someone with greater physical attributes would have been a smarter move, especially since Luis wouldn't have been able to defend himself well, possessed or not.
