Ghostbusters 2 ends at New Year, and unless theres a major skip forward in months that isnt explained, that suggests that the majority of the films events take place over Christmas, which is notoriously well sign-posted in the city. People tend to visit New York at Christmas for the experience, which makes it strange that theres not a single one in Ghostbusters 2 at all.

By the same logic, Egon should also become irrationally angry or negative, but instead hes able to think clearly and analyse that the ooze is affecting them. Why is he so special? And come to think of it, why doesnt Dana have an argument with her son when the ooze invades her bath?
