20 Most Annoying Movie Characters Since 2000
4. Draco Malfoy
Portrayed By: Tom Felton
Appeared In: The Harry Potter franchise
Who really has hair that blonde? While Tom Felton couldn't wait to leave the peroxide behind, we couldn't wait to see the back of Draco. We have all met bullies, and their most annoying quality is their cowardice - this was Malfoy's biggest drawback. For 10 years we watched Malfoy spit the words "POTTER" across the cinema screens as a one-dimensional villain who was a racist in an overprivileged lifestyle.
Then there was the convoluted inclusion of Malfoy in the plot to kill Albus Dumbledore. It was a way to bring him to the limelight of the films, but it was all wrong. Cue more crying, some stops, and badly written Malfoy one-liners.
Although Malfoy couldn't do the deed himself, he was directly responsible for the death of Dumbledore, who for some reason seemed to take pity on the sniveling weasel. The Potter films had more than one inane character, but seeing Malfoy get punched, slapped, and zapped for eight films was undoubtedly a highlight. If every kid was like Draco we would all wish our kids off to wizarding boarding school.
