The third entry in the series, A Quiet Place: Day One promises to revisit the franchise but in a vastly different way. By that, it means that Day One is a spin-off prequel picture centering on a new batch of characters to those seen in John Krasinski's prior two movies.

For Krasinski, he's put together the story for Day One, but it's Pig's Michael Sarnoski in the director's chair this time out. As for that new batch of characters, the impressive cast is headed up by Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o, Alex Wolff (Hereditary), Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things), and Denis O'Hare (American Horror Story), plus we'll see the return of Djimon Hounsou's Man on the Island from A Quiet Place Part II.

While it's not been outright confirmed as of yet, the belief is that A Quiet Place: Day Once will indeed look at the early days of the otherworldly monsters taking over Earth when it lands in cinemas in June.
