Release Date: TBA

Another Sundance hit due to hit Netflix later this year, His House marks the debut of writer-director Remi Weekes, whose film follows Sudanese refugees Bol (Sope Dirisu) and Rial (Wunmi Mosaku) as they attempt to start a new life on a British council state.

Critics have kindly not given away the movie's bigger surprises, though it is said to contain haunted house elements far beyond the social realism of its narrative setup.

Matt Smith co-stars as Bol and Rial's case worker, and regular creature performer Javier Botet is also counted among the cast, which probably suggests quite which route the story's going to go.

Hopefully it'll land on Netflix in time for Halloween, because this sounds like a riveting blend of relatable existential terror and more heightened genre thrills.
