It wasn’t as good as The Dark Knight, but Nolan's final Bat-film gave the trilogy a sense of closure.
Bane was a great tactician and a formidable foe (until Talia’s revelation demoted him to a pawn in her plan) and the final sequence continues to spawn debate as to whether Bruce survived or not.
All-in-all, the movie was a great way to end a fantastic franchise before it became too drawn out.
