3. Quicksilver Evacuates The X-Mansion - X-Men: Apocalypse
After Havok (Lucas Till) accidentally triggers an explosion at the X-Mansion, it falls to Quicksilver (Evan Peters) to make the save.
This results in another epic Quicksilver slow-motion sequence, this time set to Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams, as he evacuates all the young mutants while the fire slowly creeps around the mansion, and even makes time to rescue a goldfish and a dog who loves pizza.
Apocalypse was a disappointment on so many levels, but this visually incredible scene totally lived up to the brilliant Pentagon heist sequence from Days of Future Past.
Topping it again next time's going to be quite the challenge, though.
