10. Jason Statham Rescues A Baby - The Fate Of The Furious

It's tough to pick just one insanely over-the-top, epic sequence from The Fate of the Furious, but it ultimately has to go to Deckard Shaw's (Jason Statham) John Woo-inspired rescue of Dom's (Vin Diesel) baby boy on-board Cipher's (Charlize Theron) aircraft.

After Deckard and his brother Owen (Luke Evans) use wingsuits to fly into the airship, Deckard quickly locates the baby, but finds Cipher's goons ready to start a fight.

What follows is a howlingly ludicrous scene in which Shaw, without missing a beat, dispatches the men while keeping hold of the baby, carriage and all. Through all of this, Shaw keeps quipping at the kid, even asking if the poopy smell is from him or one of the dead baddies.

A lesser movie wouldn't be able to pull it off, but in a series that could conceivably go to space eventually, it's just another day at the office. And on top of that, if you still weren't convinced that The Stath is great in comedy roles, here's further proof.
