Deadpool wasted absolutely no time confirming a second movie, what with the title character re-appearing at the end of the credits to confirm that a sequel is on the way, and it's going to feature Cable.
This simply showed just how confident Fox were in their product, which amassed almost $800 million worldwide to the surprise of just about every box office analyst in the game.
Even though director Tim Miller quit Deadpool 2 over "creative differences", hopefully the film can still retain the wit and irreverence that made the first one such a blast.
Also, now that the origin story is out of the way and Fox know they have a built-in audience, more adventurous villains and plot next time, please?
