20 Most Horribly Misleading Movie Titles

3. The Constant Gardener

What It Sounds Like: Finally, the BBC Films biopic the green-fingered minority had been waiting for. Alan Titchmarsh€™s life story adapted for the big screen with the tagline €œHe won€™t put the trowel down. EVER.€ As excited as people were at the prospect of the above flick - The Constant Gardener has a very tenuous link to actual horticulture.

What It Actually Is: Based on John Le Carre€™s novel, the titular gardener, Justin Quayle (Ralph Fiennes) only engages in said activity very briefly. The whole film follows him on a quest to unravel his wife€™s murder after she is killed for exposing a life-threatening pharmaceutical. From time-to-time he potters with a few houseplants. It€™s not constant by any definition.
