6. Underwater Battles - Aquaman
Though he was a little sidelined, Aquaman did emerge from Justice League with his credibility intact and having done enough to make his forthcoming stand-alone movie significantly more exciting than it already was.
Jason Momoa's performance as the rockstar superhero was pitch perfect even when he wasn't getting a lot to say and seeing him fighting Steppenwolf under water showed a lot of promise for the deep sea sequences we are bound to see in Aquaman.
Most excitingly of those likely sequences are those that will see Aquaman facing off with his half-brother Orm (otherwise known as Ocean Master), who is intent on dethroning him and taking over Atlantis. We can expect some serious (and damp) sparks to fly between the two, and seeing how James Wan uses the new technology available to him will be very intriguing.
