5. Thanos Throws A Moon – Avengers: Infinity War
By the time the third act of the 2018 blockbuster rolled around, it was pretty evident that an Infinity Stone-powered Thanos was a threat unlike anything the MCU’s best had faced before. This was best demonstrated after the Mad Titan escaped his thrall under Mantis and took down his opponents.
Before Iron Man fell, the alien conqueror used the Space and Power Stones to grab one of Titan’s moons and hurl it onto the planet’s surface, devastating what remained of it.
It is a wonder that the Avengers and Guardians (especially the likes of Mantis and Star-Lord) survived such a cataclysmic attack and served as yet another reminder that the primordial stones are beyond other powers in the MCU.
