20. Max Von Sydow Is...

There have been a lot of rumours about legendary actor Max von Syndow's role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but by far the most popular is the one which claims he will be portrayed as an old soldier (possibly from as far back as The Clone Wars) who now runs a salvage yard on Tatooine (or whatever other desert planet was featured in the teaser trailer). Joining him there will be Daisy Ridley's Rey, and it's when she brings him a lightsaber that the old timer apparently becomes lucid and starts to look back on the old days, dropping the names of some prequel-era characters in the process. There have been talks of von Sydow's character being part cyborg, and possibly even someone fans have met before.
