17. A New Jedi Order
Rumour has it that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will also feature a new Jedi Order. Despite the fact that the roles being taken on by a number of actors have been kept a secret, there's been nothing to indicate that any of them will be playing a Jedi Knight. However, this rumour is the result of a relative unknown (Sam Carr) apparently being cast as a Padawan. There is of course a good chance that Luke Skywalker set up a new Jedi Order following the events of Return Of The Jedi, but that conflicts with a lot of other reports about his status in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Could Leia be the one training a new generation of Jedi? It seems more likely that, if there is a Padawan in the movie, it will be in a flashback.
