Frankenhooker is a reworking of The Brain That Wouldnt Die, where a mad scientist attempts to graft his girlfriends severed head onto the body of a stripper. Frank Henenlotter's film features a homicidal lawnmower, a pimp named Zorro (who brands his girls with a Z) and exploding hookers. It caught the attention of Bill Murray, who supplied a quote of his own: If you see only one film this year, it should be Frankenhooker.
