Donnie Gill's power should not be underestimated - having been struck by lightning whilst using a powerful weather machine of his own design, his cells have the ability to emit liquid nitrogen, enabling him to freeze objects upon touching them. The power is both deadly and large scale, as he can use it to freeze people solid - which obviously kills them - and chill much larger areas, including a huge ship and the sea and environment around it. Gill was shot by Skye with a sniper rifle and sunk to the bottom of the ocean as his body began to freeze itself. No body was ever found, which would suggest his power also allows him to survive situations that would be fatal to others.
