11. That Forced Black Widow-Hulk Romance - Avengers: Age Of Ultron
The Moment: At the beginning of Age of Ultron, Black Widow calms The Hulk down, quite blatantly implying that the two are now an item.
Why It's Ridiculous: It's by far one of the most common complaints raised by fans about Age of Ultron, that the Bruce-Natasha romance came almost completely out of nowhere and was wildly unnecessary.
It's all the more absurd when you consider that The Avengers very implicitly suggested that she and Hawkeye had some history, and then Captain America: The Winter Soldier explored her fiery chemistry with Cap, but by the time Age of Ultron rolls around, she's just suddenly with Bruce with nothing telegraphed.
It ended up feeling more like a "shipper" fan-fiction subplot rather than something earned or that made sense: Hawkeye or Cap would've been fine, even though the MCU really doesn't need all this romantic nonsense to be entertaining or bring in the box office bucks.
