14. Superman's "Cameo" - Shazam!

Shazam! was one of the year's most pleasant surprises, an irreverent and incredibly sweet superhero movie that couldn't be further from the DCEU's grimmer, drabber offerings.

A running joke throughout the movie is that nobody at school believes that Freddy (Jack Dylan Grazer) is actually friends with Shazam (Zachary Levi), and when he promises that Shazam will join him for lunch, one bully jokingly remarks, "And then Superman's gonna be bringing us dessert, right?"

But in the film's hilarious final scene, Freddy is vindicated when he's joined for lunch by not only Shazam, but also Superman.

Yet because Henry Cavill wasn't available for the shoot, we only see the Man of Steel from the neck-down, which ultimately just makes the gag that much funnier.
