And one of its most hilarious and unexpected scenes saw Foo Fighters rocker Dave Grohl make a quick cameo as himself.

When Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) travel to 2025 to ask their older selves about the world-uniting song they were prophecised to write, they're eventually met by Grohl, who asks what they're doing in his house.

As it turns out, despite initially looking like huge successes, the future Bill and Ted were simply con artists who broke into Grohl's house for their own ends.
