8. Pearl Breaks Her Hip & Dies - X
Ti West's X is a deliciously sleazy horror throwback in which the cast and crew of a porn film are picked off by their horny old landlords in rural Texas. Yup.
The movie's primary villain is the elderly landlady Pearl (Mia Goth, under heavy old lady makeup), who at film's end faces off against our only remaining hero, actress Maxine (also Mia Goth).
Pearl rocks a shotgun and seems to have the drop on Maxine, yet in an hilarious twist of fate she misses her shotgun blast and the recoil catapults her to the ground, where breaks her hip.
Pearl is now helpless to do anything but watch as Maxine gets in Pearl's truck and reverses over her head, crushing it, before driving off into the night. Talk about a satisfying, outrageously funny, and totally fitting end for your slasher movie villain.
