20 Movie Scenes That Should've Been Cut

Honestly this list could've just contained 20 dopey scenes from the Jurassic Park sequels, but here's an especially infamous scene from the thunderously disappointing third film.

When Alan Grant (Sam Neill) falls asleep during the flight to Isla Nublar, he has a nightmare that the plane has been abandoned mid-flight. Moreover, the only other remaining occupant onboard is a Velociraptor which promptly shouts "Alan!" in a human voice.

At this moment Alan jolts awake and we see that the voice is from one of his fellow passengers on the real plane, which has neither been abandoned nor contains a dinosaur.

This is just one of those deeply misguided moments that totally obliterates the established style and tone - it's extremely silly and undermines any sense of danger or intrigue the film is trying to establish early on.

Almost a quarter-century after Jurassic Park III's release, this probably remains its most talked-about moment, and generally not for the better.
