20 Movie Scenes That Should've Been Cut

Texas Chainsaw 3D is pretty lousy from top to bottom, but it would've been mildly improved by taking a chainsaw to this toe-curlingly cringe-worthy moment from the very end of the film.

The sequel's mission statement was clearly to try and reinvent franchise icon Leatherface (Dan Yeager) as an anti-hero, by having him team up with his cousin Heather (Alexandra Daddario) to slice up the town's corrupt cops.

It's not the worst idea in the world, but as ever it's all about the execution, and that's where things go horribly wrong.

When Heather confronts the scheming Mayor Burt Hartman (Paul Rae), she ultimately grabs Leatherface's trusty chainsaw and throws it to her cousin, before telling him, "Do your thing, cuz."

It's a one-liner that's lived rent-free in the heads of horror fans for over a decade - the sort of misguided cornball nonsense that leaves you with second-hand embarrassment as you wonder how anyone shot, edited, and released the scene without questioning their sanity.

Poor Alexandra Daddario tried to make it work, but there's probably not an actress on Earth who could've delivered this one-liner convincingly.
