And finally, we have perhaps the most unexpected sequel of all due for release in 2021.

In case you missed it, Fisherman's Friends was a musical biopic based on the titular Cornish singing fishermen, which was released in the UK in early 2019 and ended up grossing a surprisingly sturdy $11.4 million at the global box office - aided by a low production budget, of course.

A sequel was then quietly given the green light last summer, which will take the Friends to Australia as they suffer through the sophomore slump with the troubled release of their second album.

Shooting is expected to begin soon for a 2021 bow.
