10. Jareth (The Labyrinth)
The 1986 Jim Henson film Labyrinth is a staple childhood movie, as it appeals to both sexes. It provides boys with a Jennifer Connelly to have a crush on, prior to growing older and witnessing her do disgusting things in Requiem for a Dream, and it gives young girls David Bowie and his prolific bulge. David Bowie, much more well known for being the musician David Bowie than an actor, plays Jareth, the mystical villain in this fantasy epic. He rules the Labyrinth which Connelly's Sarah must solve to rescue her kidnapped baby brother. We also know he's evil because he can shapeshift into an owl. And, later in the film, he attempts to seduce Sarah which would've been more okay if the film took place like ten years later in her life.
Why We Can't Help But Love Him: Jareth is the perfect movie villain for children, being evil enough to kidnap an infant child but providing moments of musical relief such as with the song Magic Dance.
