20 Movies Starring Star Wars Actors In 2016

20. Silence - Liam Neeson

In Star Wars: Neeson of course appeared in The Phantom Menace as Qui-Gon Gin, the Jedi Master and mentor to Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor), who turned out to be much more boring than any Star Wars character played by him should ever be allowed to. The New Movie: Neeson re-teams with director Martin Scorsese for the first time since 2002's Gangs of New York for an adaptation of Shūsaku End's 1966 novel about two Jesuit priests (Andrew Garfield and Kylo Ren himself, Adam Driver) who head to Japan to find their mentor, played by Neeson. Scorsese has been developing the film for 25 years, and so there's understandably plenty of hype around it. Don't be surprised if it earns Neeson his first Oscar nomination since Schindler's List, because it's a meaty part with plenty of gravitas attached to it.
