In Star Wars: Oscar Isaac may not have appeared in The Force Awakens as much as expected as veteran pilot Poe Dameron, but he's carved out a stellar spot for himself to become "the new Han Solo" as the new trilogy ramps up. The New Movie: Writer-director Terry George (Hotel Rwanda) helms this historical romantic drama about the love triangle between American journalist Chris (Christian Bale), a beautiful woman named Ana (Charlotte Le Bon) and Michael (Isaac), a medical student, set in Paris close to the end of the Ottoman Empire. Historical romances often end up as mawkish messes, though if nothing else, Isaac's going to nail the heartthrob role effortlessly, while hopefully he and his co-stars have a script worthy of their involvement.
