13. Untitled Terrence Malick Film - Natalie Portman
In Star Wars: Portman appeared in all three prequel trilogy movies as Padmé Amidala, famous less for being a strong female character and more for the atrocious dialogue she was sadly forced to spout (most infamously, "Anakin, you're breaking my heart"). which caused her to
struggle to find work in its wake. Still, she gave birth to Luke and Leia, so her iconic stature in the universe cannot be denied (no matter how badly Lucas botched it).
The New Movie: Fresh off appearing in Terrence Malick's most recent film Knight of Cups, Portman will also show up in his latest untitled project, rumoured to be named Weightless, alongside an ensemble including Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, Rooney Mara, Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender, Val Kilmer and Benicio del Toro, Not much is known about the plot or characters other than that it revolves around two love triangles and the Texan music scene, so we'll have to wait and see. Assuming, of course, that Portman even ends up in the final cut, considering Malick's infamous post-production process.
