20 Movies That Will Kick Ass In 2018

10. Mission Impossible: Fallout

After a couple of years off following the impressive Rogue Nation, the Mission Impossible franchise is on the eve of its grand return, once again helmed by director Christopher McQuarrie and no doubt acting as another thinly-veiled excuse for Tom Cruise to brag about how many ridiculous stunts he managed to accomplish in-camera.

Jokes aside though, it's those very same death-defying stunts that have breathed new life into the franchise. Over the past couple of movies, each Mission Impossible sequel has delivered some of the most impressive modern action sequences in the genre, backed up by surprisingly compelling narratives.

There's really not much to dislike about these movies; the cast bounce of each other well, the plots revel in classic spy tropes and the action is always thrilling, and Fallout looks as though it will push these elements further than ever. Sometimes, more of the same is fine.
