20 Movies Which Could Win Oscars In 2022

If any upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie has the potential to repeat the awards success of Black Panther, it's surely Eternals.

Beyond its stacked, diverse ensemble cast, the film is being directed by Chloé Zhao, who just became the second woman in history to win the Best Director Oscar for Nomadland.

Between this and and insider buzz suggesting that Marvel is "almost in disbelief" at how good the movie is, Eternals could well become a rare epochal, big-budget blockbuster to break through into Best Picture.

And even if not, it's likely to be up for Best Visual Effects, Sound, Costume Design, Production Design, and possibly Original Score.

Acting nominations are unlikely considering the massive size of the ensemble and the fact that no MCU movie has received an acting nod before, but with an actor's director like Zhao at the helm, you never know.
