8. Brian De Palma: Bruce Springsteen - "Dancing In The Dark"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=129kuDCQtHs The second appearance for Mr. Springsteen here; this time with the lead single from his universally acclaimed and admired LP "Born In The U.S.A.". In between shoots for the deeply unsettling Scarface (1983) and The Untouchables (1987), Brian De Palma took his lens to shoot the American legend in what could be his most iconic music video. "Dancing In The Dark" was the biggest hit of Springsteen's career at the time, and the release of the video alongside the full album saw him truly projected into the stardom stratosphere. The track has been covered by an unfathomable amount of personalities with Kermit the Frog surely being the highest honour. De Palma has served a valiant career in filmmaking with exceptional works including Carlito's Way (1993), Mission: Impossible (1996) and The Black Dahlia (2006) all as rightful bragging rights.
