20 Netflix Movies For The Rest Of 2022 You Need To Know About

10. Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio

As much as most of us are feeling a bit sick and tired of Pinocchio movies right now, Guillermo del Toro's darker stop-motion animated take certainly looks like an extremely fresh rendition of the legendary material.

Del Toro's revisionist retelling will shift the setting to 1930s Fascist Italy - an inspired touch which should further differentiate it from other adaptations, namely Robert Zemeckis' live-action version releasing this September.

If the gorgeously animated trailer somehow didn't grab you, the wonderful ensemble cast surely will, counting among its number Ewan McGregor, David Bradley, Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman, Christoph Waltz and Tilda Swinton.

Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio will have a limited theatrical run in November before releasing on streaming in December.
