6. Wakanda (Iron Man 2)

One of the most exciting Easter eggs from Phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to bear fruit in Phase 3. In Iron Man 2, there was a map in the background with certain locations highlighted across the globe. One of those locations was in Africa, which left people speculating about the presence of Wakanda - and its resident hero Black Panther - all the way back in 2010. Finally, Black Panther is actually going to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Phase 3 - first appearing in Captain America: Civil War before getting his own movie a year and a half later. Chadwick Boseman is set to take on the titular role and the excitement for his introduction is palpable. He'll bring something very different to the franchise and, come 2016 when he first appears, it will be a full six years in the making.
