Though there's been a lot of online backlash against this "gender-swapped" Ocean's sequel, but as the surprisingly positive critical reception to 2016's all-female Ghostbusters reboot proved (scoring a solid 74%), critics don't care anywhere near as much about this as fans do.

Plus, of all the hills for people to die on, is anyone really that attached to Ocean's as a franchise? These movies are all glossy, frothy heist movies and not startlingly original at that, so it's easy to believe this new effort will be another solid instalment, even without Steven Soderbergh at the helm.
