20 Predictions For 2018's Rotten Tomatoes Scores

Predicted Critical Consensus: "The role of Aquaman fits Jason Momoa like a glove, though the film's middling script may leave fans underwhelmed."

Predicting critical praise for the DC Extended Universe is never sensible, and so even with director James Wan and an appealing supporting cast including Nicole Kidman and Willem Dafoe, it's hard to have much faith in Aquaman being anything more than another mediocre DC movie.

At least we know that Momoa is a fine Aquaman, but nailing the look of a mostly-underwater movie won't be easy, and like most DCEU films it may struggle to overcome a wealth of CGI-soaked excess.

Expect it to be just OK, and be pleasantly surprised if it's anything more.
