10. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

If you€™re in your twenties, then you€™ll have grown up at least hearing constantly about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, if not watching it religiously yourself. Buffy as a show was difficult not to like; the concept was solid, the writing was usually superb and the characters were so well-drawn that, love €˜em or hate €˜em, it was impossible not to have your favourites. Buffy really was Whedon€™s first step towards greatness, towards winning the Avengers bid and securing himself a place in the annals of cinema immortality. And to be honest, I€™d be pleased enough if Buffy was my swansong.
