7. Serenity
Weve got ourselves to thank for Serenity; if we hadnt loved Firefly so much, and bought the DVD set in our droves, Fox would have never given Whedon the go ahead to make it. But thankfully, we did and they did, and rabid fans everywhere were able to finally get the closure the so sorely needed. Serenity was an awesome movie, with an awesome story, an awesome plot and of course, the return of the awesome characters that we know and love. Even standing alone, apart from the series, its a fantastic achievement and served only to cement Whedon as a prolific writer, a skilled director and a creator of great fiction.
