20 Most Ridiculous Lines From The Harry Potter Films

7. "Open Up, You...Don't You Trust Me?" - Half-Blood Prince

The Line: It's Christmas Eve at the Weasley household, and Ginny sits down next to harry with a plate of mince pies on her lap, at which point Mr. Weasley excuses himself. She grabs a mince pie, looks at Harry and says, "Open up, you....Don't you trust me?", before shoving the pie into Harry's mouth, and after a mouthful, he replies, "It's good." Ron then enters the room, sits between the pair and offers Harry a pie, to which he refuses. Why It's Ridiculous: More awkward attempts at fostering sexual tension between two actors who have absolutely zero chemistry, and even if they did have chemistry, watching Ginny feed Harry is completely cringe-worthy: seriously, along with tying the guy's shoelaces, who does this sort of thing, especially when he doesn't exactly look that comfortable either? The "don't you trust me?" sounds absolutely ridiculous within the context of the scene, and Ron's offering of more pie simply packs even more innuendo into a scene that's almost unbearably daft.
