20 Most Ridiculous Lines From The Harry Potter Films

6. "Not My Daughter, You Bitch!" - Deathly Hallows: Part 2

The Line: After Molly Weasley notices Bellatrix attacking Ginny, she intervenes, points her wand and shouts "Not my daughter, you bitch!". Cue Molly unleashing an unexpectedly vicious magic attack on Bellatrix, killing her. Why It's Ridiculous: As the Harry Potter films progressed, the sense of danger felt more believable, and so it made sense that the intensity of the action and the dialogue would be given a serious boost. The problem, of course, is that these movies are rated 12A, and nobody really wants to hear characters dropping F-bombs in this world, do they? So, we get Mrs. Weasley shouting one of the franchise's most famous lines, and though Julie Walters' delivery isn't bad, it does sound completely cringe-inducing, and completely at odds with what we've come to expect from the more poetic dialogue in the series (this list notwithstanding, of course). Is it bada**? Almost. But it's also pretty silly, like a poor imitation of "Get away from her, you bitch!" from Aliens.
