20 Shamefully Bad Movies From Brilliant Actors

7. Eat Pray Love - Javier Bardem

Pain And Gain
Sony Pictures Home Ent. UK

Javier Bardem should know better.

His filmography is full of stunning films from Before Night Falls to No Country For Old Men, and while he picks his movies well, quite why he agreed to appear in this grossly facetious and patronising film about a woman 'trying to find herself' is incomprehensible.

The faux philosophy and stereotyping is maddening, and frankly, it's middle class nonsense hyper-extended beyond even perverse appeal.
