His documentary, Senna, is an in-depth look back at the Brazilian's career and all of his accomplishments. However, it also shines the light on his problems with the safety of his sport, which is an important, yet extremely sad part of his life.
If you're not aware of his story, one of Senna's biggest worries was the potential for death within racing. The film does an exceptional job of using footage to showcase his reactions to dangerous moments that he witnessed, especially the death of Austrian race-car driver, Roland Ratzenberger.
Despite Senna mostly feeling like a celebration of what he did in Formula One, there is a strange sense of impending doom when watching it. It's as if he already knew what his fate would be and we're witnessing him come to terms with it, making it compelling watch for all.
