20 Terrible Film Lines That Had No Right Being Memorable

13. "You're So Money"

Swingers Youre So Money Swingers is a great little independent effort starring a youthful-looking Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn. It's slick, quick-witted and sweet, but it's also home to a nonsensical phrase that Vaughn's character insists on repeating throughout the entire film. It is a phrase where the word 'money' acts as a synonym for 'good', 'cool' or 'impressive', used in several ways such as "you're so money", "that was money", and "tell me that wasn't money". Vaughn's likability allows him to just about pull it off, but taken out of context this line of dialogue is pretty bad whichever way you look at it. Unfortunately, people have tried to emulate the phrase over the years, and outside of Favreau's film, it is certainly not 'money' in the slightest.
