20 Terrible Movies That Do NOT Deserve Their Fresh Rotten Tomatoes Scores

11. Ralph Breaks The Internet

Consensus: Ralph Breaks the Internet levels up on its predecessor with a funny, heart-warming sequel that expands its colourful universe while focusing on core characters and relationships.

Ralph Breaks the Internet is an awful movie.

Not only is it a terrible sequel that ruins the characters and lore of the beloved original, and not only is it an unfunny, lame piece of writing that shoves its messages down your throat, but it's a film so completely overloaded with product placement and nostalgia-bait, that comparisons with The Emoji Movie would be entirely justified.

Critics rightly tore that movie to shreds, so why not this one too? And furthermore, why the hell was it nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars?

OK, fine, it's not as bad as The Emoji Movie but still, at least The Emoji Movie's story didn't revolve around a grown man (formerly a great character, no less) being creepy as hell and becoming incredibly clingy in his friendship with a ten-year-old girl.

Seriously, what was up with that?

Even when taking into account the fantastic animation and strong voice acting, it seems hard to justify giving this movie anything above a 5/10 at the very most, but that average score suggests critics really went for this movie quite a bit.

Strange, very strange indeed.

Deserved Score: 30-50%.
