5. Kathryn Morris' Scenes As Billy's Wife Were Cut From The Movie

Though the final cut of Moneyball depicts only Billy's ex-wife, in reality he had remarried by that point, and scenes featuring his second wife were actually filmed, with Cold Case star Kathryn Morris playing the part.

Though these scenes didn't make the cut, they do explain why Beane still wears a wedding ring throughout the film.

One of Morris' scenes opposite Pitt did eventually see the light of day when Moneyball hit home video, though Miller has never explained why her entire role was cut from the theatrical release.
