Olga Kurylenko was uncomfortable with stunt work, but was inspired both by Daniel Craig and by Michelle Yeoh's performance in Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) to complete as many of her own stunts as possible.

However, it was quite a different story when the Ukrainian actress had to share a screen kiss with Craig...

“I didn’t want to kiss him,” she explained. “To me he’s an actor, I am not in love with him. Why would I want to do this with someone I have no personal feelings for? He’s a great actor and a great Bond, but if it’s not involved in the story there’s no way I want to do it.”

“Can you imagine everything you have to do in this job?” she added. “There are a lot of love stories and it’s always a very hard thing to do. Camille has no time for this.... This girl is supposed to be strong, she doesn’t need Bond’s help.”

Nevertheless, Camille is one the few leading ladies to survive in Craig’s Bond films.

I started writing for WhatCulture in July 2020. I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I have contributed to several short story competitions and I have occasionally been fortunate enough to have my work published. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I also started reviewing films on my Facebook page. Numerous friends and contacts suggested that I should start my own website for reviewing films, but I wanted something a bit more diverse - and so here I am! My interests focus on film and television mainly, but I also occasionally produce articles that venture into other areas as well. In particular, I am a fan of the under appreciated sequel (of which there are many), but I also like the classics and the mainstream too.
