14. Johnny Lee Miller Only Dropped His Scottish Accent At The Wrap Party

Every actor has their own specific way of getting into, and more importantly staying in, the head space of a character they're playing on the big screen. Some, like the aforementioned Ewan McGregor, transform their bodies in order to completely rid themselves of their neutral selves. Whilst others re-tune their vocal cords for a frankly ridiculous amount of time to get the job done.

That's precisely the position Johnny Lee Miller threw himself into during the making of this generational classic. With the Sick Boy star being the only Englishmen present within the core gang of characters, Miller decided to keep up his Scottish accent all the way through principal photography.

In fact, the bleach blond actor only dropped the Edinburgh tones during the film's wrap party, revealing his original Cockney accent to a stunned Ewan Bremner before the team travelled down to London to shoot the iconic poster images used for the film.
