Few posters used to promote the incoming release of a big screen offering have found themselves on quite as many rebellious teenagers' walls as the sight of Renton, Begbie, Spud, Sick Boy, and Diane all striking a pose in black and white.

However, you've likely spotted by now that one fairly important character somehow didn't make the cut when it came time to print the iconic image. Yet, far from just being passed over when deciding who should land on the film's much-loved poster, Kevin McKidd (a.k.a. Thomas "Tommy" Mackenzie) missed his big orange moment because he was actually double booked.

Were this because he was off shooting another eventual big hitter, destined to light the movie world on fire, you could likely understand his decision to prioritise his appearance elsewhere. But, the fact that he no-showed due to having a holiday booked at the time of shooting the image must leave him kicking himself to this day.
