ChloƩ Zhao made Oscar history this year by being the first woman of colour to receive a Best Director nomination, and also became only the third person ever to receive triple nominations for producing, directing, and editing their own film.

The first two nominees were Joel and Ethan Coen, who similarly pulled triple duty on No Country for Old Men back in 2007 and also went on to win Best Picture and Best Director Oscars.

It's looking incredibly likely that Zhao will follow suit with wins for Picture and Directing, while Best Editing will probably end up going to either The Trial of the Chicago 7 or Sound of Metal.
