18. Not All Fans Were Happy With The Finished Film
Fans were perhaps more critical of the film than expected upon its release. One of their major gripes was that the Aliens had lost their menace from the first film, and were so numerous they became purely cannon fodder.
Cameron argued that the Aliens adapted to their situation: they knew the marines had overwhelming firepower, and would use their strength in numbers to probe for weaknesses and pick them off one by one.
It has been the passing of time, as is so often the way, that has cemented this film as a fan favourite, and the pinnacle of the series.
