5. The Same Shot Gets Blatantly Re-Used In One Scene
There's perhaps no better proof of the art of editing than the sheer number of "mistakes" filmmakers can sneak past the vast majority of viewers.
Die Hard 2 has a particularly strange one in an establishing scene, when Stuart's mooks synchronise their watches and Miller (Vondie Curtis Hall) grabs a package underneath the table.
The close-up very clearly shows a white man's hand grabbing the package, despite Miller himself being black.
As if that's not odd enough, the close-up of the hand is used again barely 30 seconds later, when one of the other henchmen apparently picks up another package. How bizarre.
